Current Boutique is an upscale modern consignment boutique.  We only accept women's clothing, shoes, jewelry and designer handbags in great condition.  We do not intent to be high and mighty, but we want all of our shoppers to know they will be able to find modern, quality items 1/3 of the original cost that they will absolutely love.  We are committed to an upscale, contemporary focus keeping an inventory of quality, modern, trendy and timeless classic fashion.  Please do not be offended or get upset if some of your items do not make the cut at Current Boutique.  Check out our “Shoppers” section to get a better idea of our inventory.

No appointment is necessary if you are consigning 20 items or less. If you have more than 20 items to consign, we ask that you make an appointment with our staff. Please give us a call 703-528-3079 to make an appointment. 

Consignment Procedure
All consigners are asked to complete our standard listing form describing the items they are consigning. We will provide you a listing form when you arrive at Current or you can fill one out in advance. A member of our staff will review your items and determine which items Current will accept for consignment. Items not selected for consignment will be returned to you.

Drop and Run Consignment Procedure
The fastest way to consign your items is the "drop and run." Simply list your items beforehand, drop your items off at Current with a completed listing form and we’ll take care of the rest (if you are a first-time consigner you must also complete our consignor agreement.) Any items that we do not accept for consignment will not be given back and will be donated.

We Accept Clothing in Current Seasons:
Fall: August 15 – October 15.
Winter: October 15 – February 15
Spring: February 15 – May 15
Summer: May 15 – August 15

FAQ'S
How should I bring my items in? Please bring items in excellent condition, neatly folded in bags, freshly cleaned and pressed. Please do not bring items in trash bags or on hangers. All items should be in style and no more than 2 years old. Minimize the items that we do not accept by taking the time to look for broken zippers, missing buttons or ties, rips, stains, faded material, etc. - we will not accept these items.

How does Current decide what to sell my clothing for? At Current we are aware of what is popular and in style with our customers. We know the market and what is in demand. If you have an item that you must get a certain price for, please identify it to us. Otherwise we set the prices, usually 1/3 of the original retail price. Our listing form provides a space for you to let us know what price you would like an item sold for - we will use this as a guideline for pricing.

How much do I get paid? You will receive 50% of our sales price.

When and how do I get paid? You can be paid as early as 90 days after your items were accepted by Current. You will only be paid if your items are sold. After 90 days, you can call us to check on your account. If you request it, we will mail a check to you or you can pick it up in person.
